There are no two suns under the sky
Macro economics and politics are a kind of mega flow under the biggest sea
When you run a business, you need to have a physical and legal entity in a certain country. Once you establish a legal entity, you need to follow corporate law in that country. Every country has its status of macro economics and politics. Under certain statuses, your business can be affected by those macro factors. These are not related to your product, marketing, or technology you build. These affections are only concerned with macro economics and politics.
The conflict between Naver and SoftBank shows us the importance of macro economics and politics
Line-Yahoo was merged and created A holding company between tech giant Naver in Korea and SoftBank in Japan with 50:50 equal shares. This conflict came from geo-political conflict to obtain supremacy in the AI sectors. A business is the future of each country as economic growth and the defensive or offensive power of the country. This is the reason Japan Gov pressure for Naver to sell A holding company shares to SoftBank. The biggest mistake made by Naver was they established 50:50 equal shares in A holding company that is ruling Line-Yahoo as a child company. I do think even in a country there are no two leaders or two presidents in a single country. Same with corporate, there shouldn't be two leaders in a single holding company. This is the biggest mistake made by Naver. Let's see how it goes.
